Miss independent! Miss independent!! Miss independent!!! How many guys really wanna make a miss independent their wife. If your shorty is financially sound more than you,won't u think otherwise? Like maybe she'll be acting like she's the boss,disrespectful,selfish,hard on u,controlling etc. What do u think? So, tell us why you think a financially secure woman is going to be bossy, disrespectful, selfish, hard on you and controlling.

My ex SIL makes about 3 times what my ex BIL makes. They've been married about 28-29 years & I've never heard them mention anything about her making more than him & they've always seemed happy with the few exceptions. Not everyone gets along 24/7.

But I've known plenty of less-than-independent women who were bossy, disrespectful, selfish, unreasonable, etc. Independence, per se, is merely one factor in the equation.

Hummmmmmm I think ones persons version of independent is totally different then what most of us think it is. My self being independent is being able to live on my own and think and do things for myself... It does not mean we don't appreciate help once in a while nor does it mean we will run over the other person that tries to help.... But instead we are self sufficient. I've never found those that are independent as disrespectful, selfish, nor bossy..... Just because they take the effort in doing things themselves and not acting like they are helpless does not mean any of those things. Myself I admire those that don't mind getting their hands dirty and do what ever needs to be done......

That question was just..... Nevermind I have a lot of mulah.... Geez but that does not make me bossy just cause I'm independent it's the op for me... Gives me the freedom to lay back and be mellow about a lot cause I don't have to worry but if some man comes and tries to jump in my wallet..... Watch how BOSSY I CAN be!!!
