This has happened to me. Be very careful while trying to light a propane grill while holding an umbrella over it. Apparently the propane gas gets trapped under the umbrella. My umbrella ended up in the alley and I lost my eyelashes....... Isle 17, Walgreens. Two inch curly eyelashes. No one can tell the diff. Be careful with your lighter around the glue though.

THUD roflmaoooooo I'm sorry for your misfortune.. and missing eyelashes... rereads post OMG... really, I am glad you were not badly hurt.. that sounds like it could have been far more damaging & dangerous!

I burned my eyelashes once!! But, I can't even begin to describe how that happened!! which of course makes me ask you what happened?

Hummmmmmmmm that is why it is best to keep the grill under a patio. You can light it anytime and not have to worry about the weather therefore no umbrella needed....and you don't end up like this.............

The saddest part is that u didn't get it on video-U could have won some money on AFV.At least then it would make u feel better. Glad to hear u are Ok.

My umbrella ended up in the alley and I lost my eyelashes....... propane is heavier than air anyway..you could have been holding a brick over your head and the same thing would have happened..but i am glad you made it out without too much damage..

This is true but 3 of my friends witnessed it and will never let me live it down...... i had a big wood stove back flash on me sev yrs ago and knocked my a$$ clear across rm and had 2nd degree burns on rt side of face lost all my hair on that side eyelashes and eyebrows and hurt like a bit**had to go to er.so when u b xtra carefull.my grandson witnessed mine and still talks about it 7 yrs later

The big question is; How were the burgers? Ribs actually and they were great. My friends watched me through a window. I walk in and my best buddy asks me "Hey Jeff did you get the grill started?"
