no,, at least there wasnt one in the two town meetings I attended here in Las Vegas

but he spoke only a brief time before taking questions directly from the audience,,,one on one type dialogue

He uses them when he will be giving extended speeches, most presidents dont memorize long speeches so completely as to NOT need some assistance keeping their thoughts in order for thirty or more

No, he uses two now. He doesn't want a repeat of the last teleprompter episode. He was so traumatized by it.

Without them he sounds like uh, duh, but, Alzheimer moment, uh, we live in the uhhhh, greatest nation in the world, Alzheimer moment. Help me change all, uhhh, that.rofl rofl

HE sounds fine to me,,, certainly no less 'duh' than some of the posts on this site(which are WRITTEN and have a chance to be thought out FIRST)

I have been to TWO of his town hall type sessions here in las vegas, where he took questions directly, and he is VERY well spoken and educated(As would be expected of someone graduating MAGNA CUM LAUDE from Harvard Law)
