I just got back from a long stay at Luckenbach (no internet)! The National Museum of the Pacific War is there. I got to see the only working flame thrower from WWII and a tank assault a Japanese pillbox. They have made this reenactment six times over the past years and I have been lucky enough to see two of them. Both retired soldiers and new ones about to be shipped off played the parts.
