President Obama oversaw more drone strikes in Pakistan during his first year in office than occurred during the entire Bush presidency!
Where r all the people that attacked Bush for what they claimed was an illegal war in Iran. Why r they now silent as Obama decides to kill people in Pakistan via a predator attack only on the basis that in the future these people might committ a terroist act against the US. Obama has even authorized the asassinaion of an American — Anwar al-Awlaki. Shouldn't he be captured and tried in NY? I still remember the threads on this site about Bush...Why r the drone attacks in Pakistan legal if the war in Iraq was illegal as claimed by those anti Bush posters? Why r they not posting incessantly about Obama's illegal actions as they did when Bush was president? I guess their silence on these issues speaks for itself....

I do not agree with war or assassinations, I will reserve final judgment until all FACTS are in. As far as pakistan,, I thought we were at war with Al Queda and I would gamble that attacks have been against them and not Pakistan, per se.

I guess the part about us assisting the pakistani government rid themselves of the gangs of insurgents and problems from the areas the drones are hitting is of no consequence huh?

Haven't you figured it out yet?Democrats and liberals only fight and protest something if it is a Republican doing it.It doesn't matter how wrong it is if a Democrat is doing it.They don't care if it is right or wrong they only care about having it their way.I have lost count of how many articles I have read about civilians getting killed from airstrikes since Obama took office.Where is Code pink camping out on Obamas doorstep?Where is the criticism from Moveon.org.Where is Sean penn,Rosie,and Micheal moore?Totally silent.I guess when Bush was there it was a national emergency to end the war.But with Obama he can just take all the time in the world even if everyone dies in Iraq in the process.He has had more than enough time to stop this war and certainly has enough power from the house and Senate to stop it but of course he hasn't done the slightest thing to stop it or slow it.Matter of fact he increased it and prolonged it by adding 17,000 more troops.Lets not forget prune faced Pelosi calling for impeachment of Bush how many hundreds of times along with the Democrats for the war.Since Obama took office Pelosi hasn't said a single word concerning the war despite running her mouth like a sewer when Bush was running the show.I see these counter protestor idiots at the tea parties holding up signs to impeach Bush for the war!They just can't seem to grasp the idea Obama is running the war the same way Bush did.Are we just going to erase everything bad that has happened under Obamas watch in the 14 months he has been in control? At least Conservatives and right wingers keep their values and support despite who is in charge or what is going on.Democrats and Liberals are gutless cowards who if they had any balls at all would be out in the same numbers,holding their signs,protesting Obama and this war.Obama might as well just be George bush the third.Obama has yet to end any of George bush's programs. |

i am neither republican or democrat...
i agree with some issues on both sides... all i am saying is EDUCATE YOURSELF first before all the stone throwing and ranting....know your news sources allignment....watch all of them....then watch ones that arent alligned towards one party or the other...GET A GOOD HONEST LOOK AT THE WHOLE PICTURE....have a mind of your own not an extension of FOX or MSNBC....take the blinders of intollerance and impatience off |

Obmas has spend over a trillion dollars for nothing!Unemployment has lost jobs every single month since he has been president in record numbers.All those hundreds of billions didn't do a damn thing and he did that a year ago.Forclosures are at a 5 year high.Companies including some of the biggest ones in America are going bankrupt.Banks have failed in record numbers.Nearly every state in America is in record debt or about to go bankrupt.Schools have closed or are slated to be closed.Every expert out there says this year is going to be just as bad if not worse.Every where you look you see for sale signs and empty buildings. Maybe Obama needs to look up the term Bankrupt and what it means. Wake up and smell the coffeeYou know it's bad when Canada's money is worth more than ours. |

Glad you realize that Michigan is not the rest of the country...your up on your geography. It's no secret that I am NOT a buma supporter. And just because you listen to (as you say) the right news that has your opinion suitable to your understanding...that still don't necessarily make your idea THE RIGHT ONE! We all have our own interpretation of what is going on, or how we see what is happening, and the way we understand it! It don't make us have the right answer on everything, but we still have that privilege, as we see it. If you believe what you feel is right...then so be it, but remember...that don't make it so/true! On the other side of the token, we or the rest of us have that same privilege. It's just I don't choose to be a part of his (Obama) "pied-Piper" fiascoes!
