Topic: Is dating just about finding that one and only?

Aside from those who just date to put a notch in their belts... Do you think dating is only about finding a relationship? Are there other reasons for dating someone?

maybe just to have fun That's my thinking too tina. I ask people out whom I think will be enjoyable to spend time with. I suppose there may be some difference in definitions to dating, but to me it's any time you plan to spend time with "one person" with the purpose of enjoying their company.

Its bout having fun an finding that special someone So, for you at least, if you know someone is not going to be that special someone for some reason, whatever that reason might be, you wouldn't go out with them even if it was someone you would probably enjoy spending time with?

It does for me...I have very few deal breakers and I generally won't go out with those who don't fit that criteria. If I just wanna hang out, I'll do that with my friends.
