... We all get 'em!
If you could go back in time and/or place ... ... Where would you find yourself? Where or What or Who do you miss the very most? |
Never backwards, always forward.
But there is a little island in the gulf of Siam that I have fond memories of. |
I miss my Daddy the most. I would go back to Arizona where he
was the happiest...Just to see him again, would be awesome... |

The ones I miss the most are my parents and my granny if I had to choose I would love to sit outside on a swing and talk with my granny........... She influenced my life more then anyone ever did and will continue to do so.....

I'd love to revisit some moments more than places ...
Many as a child, playin' and hangin' w/ my best friend, my brother, Kevin ... So many moments w/ my Ma ... ... Holdin' my baby girl as she nursed, both of us locked in each others eyes, lost in mystical trance ... *wistful sigh* ... I think it'd be great if 'Heaven' were a loop~to~loop interactive of ones very best moments in their lives ... YEP ... Forward is good to ... Where, Who, What??? |

the worst part of being in the Navy in the 90's was not being in Texas
I sang this song a lot to myself at the time London Homesick Blues written by Gary P Nunn, sung by Jerry Jeff Walker Well, when you're down on your luck, and you ain't got a buck, in London you're a goner. Even London Bridge has fallen down, and moved to Arizona, now I know why. And I'll substantiate the rumor that the English sense of humor is drier than than the Texas sand. You can put up your dukes, and you can bet your boots that I'm leavin' just as fast as I can. Chorus I wanna go home with the armadillo Good country music from Amarillo and Abilene The friendliest people and the prettiest women you've ever [G] seen. Well, it's cold over here, and I swear I wish they'd turn the heat on. And where in the world is that English girl I promised I would meet on the third floor. And of the whole damn lot, the only friend I've got is a smoke and a cheap guitar. My mind keeps roamin', my heart keeps longin' to be home in a Texas bar. Well, I decided that I'd get my cowboy hat and go down to Marble Arch Station. 'Cause when a Texan fancies, he'll take his chances. Chances will be taken, that's for sure. And them Limey eyes, they were eyein' the prize that some people call manly footwear. And they said you're from down South, and when you open your mouth, you always seem to put your foot there. Repeat chorus 'til the cows come home http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4Ppc3jz3GE |

I have a aunt that lives in Santa Fe. She says all the best Texans are from Texas ... ... True DAT! Gawd, I miss the drawls ... Rockie Mountain peeps are so cold ... Do ya remember in the late 70s when Motor City went bust and all the Northerners flooded Texas??? Well, at least they did in the Houston area ... It was the first NONTexans I'd ever known ... ... W/in a year they'd all 'say' they were from Texas! My kin all lived up at the Red River Valley, it took all day, 8 to 10 hours to get there! ... We never got outta Texas! ... Well Oklahoma, but that was just kinda Texas' back porch ... |
