I think it depends on the man not his age

older men CAN have some great qualities! (like the ones I mentioned earlier in the thread) but so can younger ones...let's face it I better like younger guys - at my age that's what most of them are

The more I see lists and assumptions about age, the more I chuckle to myself because I am one of a kind no matter what age I am.

I think it is funny. Everyone wants to be unique but everyone wants to belong as well. We are all just one piece of a larger puzzle. Some of us see it, others just don't get it.

As i said before its not about the age
its about maturity -not everything is about sex.
Some 20 year old can keep an conversation flowing
some cannot
yes we all have our Goofy moments
that doesn't mean your naive or stupid

Goofy is good a lot of times.

Life is difficult, goofy makes it worth while.

I find the older guys have a tougher time getting out
of the cuffs ,chains and restraints....makes it more fun

This is so true. I like the puzzle anology.

Now say that those unique puzzle pieces are lying around and somebody becomes really impatient and wants that puzzle put together quickly. They might cut those pieces to try to make them fit. It works okay for awhile but once the puzzle looks near finished, it's not quite right.

They say older men are more refined. They say older women are frisky, they even gave them a name. Those two generalizations were created to make the younger ones believe that they will find what they really want ie maturity or sex.

I think those generalizations are also made to help us w/ confidence as we age.

Funny as we age we may develop a few wrinkles & a few extra pounds but we also have become (hopefully) so much better at the things important for a relationship like understanding, forgiveness, tolerance, confidence and sex.

but because we no longer look like Barbie and Ken dolls we need to justify ourselves with mythology???

It's fun anyway - and younger people can also be relieved to know that their sex lives won't end when they reach 40 but ya, kids, we can't save you from the wrinkles...

What is the big deal about looking like a model anyway?

I am and always have been attracted to a woman that has a brain and knows how to use it and her personality. If she is pretty, that is just an added bonus.

I am good with who I am. I am actually pretty proud of being older and less um naive or foolish. That is for me personally. I have known a lot of 20 somethings that have a very good grasp of what life is about and what is important.

Aren't we all just talking about "What is the meaning of life?"

Why are we here? What is our purpose of our existence on this rock?

Some have it figured out early, others take awhile. But in general, the "older" people have a good idea of what they are about. Then they are looking for someone that has it figured out as well and works with them...
