 and drive ups? The last 2 times I went to the drive through @ the bank, people were conducting 20 minutes worth of banking. Some guy leaves the one beside me, another pulls up, gets there business done and leaves. I finally pull over and am done just as the other person. I looked over, it's overweight people to lazy to get out and walk, clueless that they are holding others up. Then they sit there, and sort everything!
Same thing happens with the fast food places. I go to Jack and they'll be a carload of people, a huge order and when they get it they have to pass everything out before they leave the window. 
My thoughts were that the drive throughs were for quick orders/deposits/cash a check. I asked the teller and she sigheded also, but they allow it. OKAY. rant over 
I have to start doing meditation breathing while waiting 10 minutes or I'll ruin my day. |

no, it was to make a quick deposit. Didn't you read what I thought they were for? And I'm a a great weight, I apologize if those words offended anyone, but thats the politically correct term last time I looked. |

Yes, I know, laughing now at how the silliness can get to ya and YES, feel alot better. It's one of those little but few quirks I have, it always bothers me for no good reason. It happens on those days when the whole day is like that>>>

Ironically, sometimes it's faster to actually park and go inside the place instead of using the drive thru....

Ever notice when you go to the Diamond Shamrock, or whereever to buy your gas, and you do not want to pay with a credit card, so you prepay, and you have to stand in line behind the schmucks that want to buy scratch-off tickets, smokes, candy, gatorade, chips, etc.? Come on, doesn't anyone buy gas anymore, with cash?

Each time that happens -know- should have parked and gone in, woulda been twice as fast.. Just in a wee bit of a hurry. Same thing with the pharmacy. Dropped off after a 15 minute wait but went inside to get it.

I agree, the drive thru is for quick drop offs, pick ups and small food orders. If you have a big order, walk you azz inside! And watch out for out of control tractors!!

Come on, doesn't anyone buy gas anymore, with cash? I use strictly cash/ checks. Cut up my cards, be damned if am gonna pay additonal money for a purchase to a company thats lending me money. I di that after was late ONE time on a card payment, charged me 40$ for late fee and raised my interest from 11.3 to 31.99%. Had that card for years and paid it off in full 2x, never missed a payment. I know they are going to chage the CC laws (or did) so that can't be done and every Tom/Dick or Harry can't get one unless all the info is proven. |

I use strictly cash/ checks. Doncha have a debit card too? Can't get in trouble there ...

We dont have drive thrus at the banks in germany. First time I saw that I was like OMG WHAT THE HELL DO THEY NEED THAT FOR?
I agree going inside is faster most of the time. Im a big girl and dont mind but you got people bitchin bout their weight and stuff.... instead of going to the drive thru they could park as far away from the door as possible and walk... Making a drive thru for everything just helps people be lazy. I walk everywhere. No need for a car where I live. Though I miss driving... |
