Hummmmm so what do you do when a friend brings up a subject about going somewhere with them and you agree but..at the last minute they seem to forget they even brought it up to you. Yet they in fact end up going without you.



Then your left there saying WTF?..............

Do you let them have it in a nonchalant way?

Do you let them have it full blast?

Or just ignore it and write it off?

Will you ever agree to go with them again later?


Guess I should clarify this one say they mentioned you going on a trip with them. And it was brought up more then once then you call them the morning of the trip and well they are already 2-3 hours down the road Hummm seems they did not think you would want to get up that early and go But did not even call to ask

hi txsgal!! i suppose it would depend on the type of friendship, casual or a good friend. a casual friend, i would probably write it off, maybe i misunderstood?; a good friend, i would ask what happened. either way, it would probably leave me feeling let down, but the value of their friendship would hopefully win out in the end.

Then I would start a slow process of putting as much distance between them and I.

Maybe make some new friends, and see where it goes from there.

Just maybe the old (so called friends) would put 2 and 2 together...and realize what they have done.

Personally, I would let em have it FULL BLAST!!!

Then that person would really have to do some big time appologizing before I would EVER condiser going with em!! Then It would take a while before I would do it.

Awww I'm one that I will sit back think about the situation then speak my mind. And will think twice before I ever agree to go with that person again.....But I will at least be honest with them how I feel about the issue. Will it stop a friendship doubt it but the same trust will not be there as far as their word as they had before with me.......


Was just curious how others would in fact deal with the same situation if it happen to them?.............and what actions they would take.

As far as my actions I never go by what others say totally for no one is correct each person must do what makes them happy within.....

Sounds like they didn't really want you to go. Being put on as back up. So like you said, way even ask.


Id have a talk with them when they came back. I don't think I would go all out on them, but I would explain how messed up it was knowing they asked a couple times.

I would also agree to go with them if they asked again, but if what happened, happened again. Now you have crossed the line

Well, I am careful when it comes to people 'mentioning' things to actually clarify the information and details. I have a cousin who often 'mentions' that we should do this or that but at the last minute she gets a client (she does hair replacement for cancer patients and makes QUITE a good amount of money) and the plans are tossed. When something is VERY important to me, I just mention to her when she mentions it to me by saying something like,, "Ok. Im going to clear my calendar and I will be ready at,,,,,,call me if ANYTHING changes so Im not left waiting,,,"

well Kristi in all honesty U are one of the BEST ladies in the world and it is their loss not to spend time with a delightfull loving caring person!!!!! Id love to spend a day over coffee OR a beer sharing my perv stories with ya!!
