I had an ex that fed me Adderalls constantly. If she was pissed she would choose to not give em' to me. Talk about control. Been off em' for 2 years now...thank God. Those things ate me up! ![]() Lortab is better. ![]() ![]() And it all started with a terrible back pain, and awful concentration. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Alcohol strongly influenced the break up of my 15 yr marriage. But hey "he doesn't have a drinking problem"
![]() I now refuse to be in a relationship or date someone who has an addiction. I just don't have the time or energy. Life is too damn short! ![]() |

Yeah, I dated a woman on and off for twenty years, but always broke up when her drinking got out of hand and her behavior got too much to handle; tried again for a year but found out she was popping pills and I could not put up with her stoned all the time. Anyhow, she OD'd and died this past January.

What gets me is that every time they relapse they talk of it like it was hell and yet they are still driven to do it time and time again. I have learned the three C's: 1. You didn't Cause it; 2. You can't Control it; 3. You can't Cure it. I guess you just have to live with or get out and deal with the feeling that you abandoned someone who needed help.
Mighty Mighty Bosstones Royal Oil lyrics From the album Let's Face It Royal Oil, come on bubble and boil Stabs like dagger, make you stagger On the hot tin foil Mind your mind or it will surely spoil then you sleep down in the soil Nothing comes from nothing, come on Royal Oil When you smoke or poke the poison You lose the chance to be tomorrow Look out on the horizon And see the sadness, the pain and the sorrow I can't say enough about the stuff Or what it has in store When you smoke or poke the poison You won't be anymore Royal Oil, come on bubble and boil Stabs like dagger, make you stagger On the hot tin foil Mind your mind or it will surely spoil Then you sleep down in the soil Nothing comes from nothing, come on Royal Oil Royal Oil has cut many down to size Spikes gonna strike the weak and strong alike And then forever, and ever close those eyes Make up your mind to keep your mind up And to your life be loyal Nothing comes from nothing, come on Royal Oil Royal Oil, big trouble brewing Long, lonely road, long road to ruin Wrong path to take, great big mistake And then you sleep down in the soil Nothing comes from nothing, come on Royal Oil |

I am more powerful than the combined armies of the world;
I have destroyed more men than all the wars of the all the nations; I have caused millions of accidents and wrecked more homes than all the floods, tornadoes and hurricanes put together; I am the worlds' slickest thief. I steal billions of dollars each year; I find my victims among the rich and poor alike, I am relentless, insidious, unpredictable; I bring sickness, poverty and death; I give nothing and take all; I am your worst enemy; I am alcohol. She was lost and adrift in the sea of alcohol, dischord and despair. I only hope that today she has found peace and redemption through knowing Christ, and trying to live a better life. |

Yet, 'I' am the legal and most abundant drug, sanctioned and prolifically advertised ...
