running real slow all of a sudden, and no pics are showing up? all happened after i suddenly got booted off line... running firefox 3.6 and windows vista... wireless connection... cant seem to get on my roommates so on neighbors now..i just tried getting on yahoo.. said i am not connected to the internet how can i be on here then? any ideas?

Do have a firewall, AV program or something that may be blocking Yahoo, but not FireFox? Have you done any scans for malware, virus, trojans, etc.?

yes i have windows firewall i just looked i dont know if the box is supposed to be checked or not yahoo is not checked...i got on there fine yesterday... i have changed no settings... ill go run a virus check now...

i ran my ad- aware already there were only 3 tracking cookies and rated at a 3 is all.. i took them off.computer pages seem to be flipping faster now for some reason.. i did nothing yet

running this on firefox..... so it should not be blocked if this works. it wont let me on google either..

Have you tried clearing your temp. files, cookies, and all that stuff?

Just curious who else uses ur computer? Are they downloading free content from the net? Alot of stuff running around there (the net).

yes i cleared those first.... virus scan still going... this is the only site i can seem to get on!! through firefox... also no one at all uses my computer... but me.. i did download something two days ago.. it seems to not be going off my toolbar.. called my heritage.. i took it off toolbar and it keeps searching through that .. it is not in my programs.. i may go reset my computer back to a week ago after the virus scan.... to see if that works

thats really strange. If this is the only only onlyyyyy site u can log onto then that is just FFFFFFFFFFFFFmessed up. lol.
I can think of ur firewall blocking sites, but thats just ridiculous to block that many. SOrry I'm shooting blanks.. 
Calling tech ppls, calling all tech ppls, PLS assist. btw try turning off ur firewall temporaratly.Then try. jiust to see if that works, im sure u already tried tho. GL! -Nish |

no virus either.. still no pics... but at least the boxes are full sized... i can see who im talking to now lol.... some other sites are working just not all of them... awwww im going to reset my computer now.. thanks for trying to help... debra

well it was my connection... its working fine now . i dont know how i got connected partially is all, and mingle must of been special
