This has worked for me . Very well . We met at work and became friends
and then it was just a strictly sexual relationship for almost 2 years .
Unfortunatley I had to move .

another friends for a yr... then together 4 1/2 yrs

my ex and I; started out as friends 1st, we became the best of friend,s and throughout our 16 years of knowing each other and being married; we used to date and keep our friendship at the front of our marriage.

I know what and who changed, also what went wrong and how we failed, now as we do the co-parenting of 2 teens; we try to be civil and friendly.

It's not the same and sadly as I've stated we used to be the best of friends, I can remember- how he courted me for 6 months; that honeymoon phase for us lasted way longer than 3 months- it went on for 3 years!

Oh well there was a reason we did not work.
I'm very thankful for knowing him and for our girls. I'm also happy he's happy and moved on. used to be hurt etc, not no more.
