In this thread, you and 'msharmony' give the impression that you are so intoxicated with this 'future life with your god', that you've lost all respect, all hope, and all trust in the human race and in life itself here on earth.

'Love your neighbor as you would yourself!!!'. If I were to suscribe to anything christian, that would be it.

And you see, without YOUR GOD, that is what I believe in.

I stand for human beings rising above this primitive and barbaric nature which could only end in 'bloodbaths'.

I believe without any proof for it, that decent and loving christian, jews, muslims, and atheists of all walks, will prevail over the 'ROUGH KIND' of 'ARMAGEDDON' obsessed lost christians, jews and muslims.
That the enlightened ones, will peacefully reason with the obsessed ones against building more housing in Jerusalem east, which would make any talks for reconciliation and peace most unlikely.

If your 'god' is waiting for anything at all, that would be what it is waiting for: 'man having found a way to truly trust, and love, and care for each other' on this earth.

You really should refrain from pontificating and hypocritical statements such as 'may god be with you' and 'I'll pray for you'. It doesn't forward your nobler intents. Besides, I am already blessed, and wish for no 'god' of yours, nor for your prayers. Neither are offered in earnest anyhow.

Why fear "God?"

The fear of "God" in my book is simply the knowledge of the law of cause and effect. There is nothing to fear but KARMA.

That is, we will bare the brunt of our ignorance, we will reap what we sow. We are the creators of our own doom.

Stop blaming it on some deity or devil. Take responsibility for your own actions and thoughts.

Not knowing what Gods final plan is neither encouraging or promoting a bloodbath or any other ending,,it is simply aknowledging that the 'ending' (or beginning depending upon perspective) will be Gods to implement.

War is bloody, any final war would realistically be as well. This is not evidence that I want a bloodbath, just acknowledgment of what it is to be in a war and a belief that there will be a FINAL war to end all wars and finally begin the process of eternal peace.

So you believe the human race will all be destroyed. If that is not an apocalypse I don't know what is. Why would you believe in that? Isn't that a bit extreme? Isn't that a loss of hope for mankind in general?

Peace? There can be no peace as long as people do not agree with each other. There can be no peace as long as people try to control and enslave other people. As long as people have "free will" they will disagree. If their "free will" is being threatened or controlled, they will fight for freedom.

for what need hope, as baseless faith, if itself realize itself be creating all that happen to itself and in the earth.

so, if self need hope, then it show it know not what itself need to know, about itself and it's own fellow man, for to create peace, one must first recognize what in itself destroy all peace, and steal it's own peace, to know what steal it from outside itself, if anything mortal wish to begin to execute soltion and true remedy for things happening outside itself in the "real world", but oh for the
snag that ensnare, for what try to create peace for itself, search in the dark for what does not exist, for peace is only peace if one wish to create it for more than just itself, or it shall perpetuate and propogate ALL THINGS that but allow peace to be stolen from itself and from all it meet in this human lifetime.

peace is only but caring about more than oneself, not because one has to, not because one was told such is good to do, not because of fear of some personal doom, but simply because self wish to, and the only true tell of the true motive, is caring when self get NOTHING IN RETURN, THE LESSON THAT 2012 SHALL TEACH ALL.

I don't think there will be an end to 'greed, hate, envy etc,' that will make way for 'pure love to begin.' Everyone grows at their own rate. Everyone is not the same and everyone will not become enlightened at the same time.

How does one learn to love? They learn through experience of all kinds and that has to include the experience of both pleasure and pain.

In a perfect world you would not learn much, because we learn by our mistakes. We learn not to hurt others because we have empathy for them. We have empathy or sympathy for them because we ourselves have been hurt.

There must be opposites in order to have a choice. There must be pain in order to appreciate pleasure. If there were only good, how would we know it was good if we have never known what we call 'evil?'

This world is a place where we learn how to love on another. In the song "nature boy" by Nat King Cole, the words were: "The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love and be loved in return."

i agree completely with everything except the boundaries we are taught to believe about men. I do believe we can have good without bad, and I believe that we will. Perhaps we will not have need to label it good because it will just be so,,but I do believe it will be so.
