I prefer the small things in life. I would rather keep it simple and meaningful

Guess that depends on your definition of small things. To me, money and lust are 'small things'. I want the big things... honesty, integrity, loyalty, trust, communication, commitment, affection, passion (different than lust, I propose)...to name but a few. Point being, size is relative and wants are subjective. Life is just a matter of perspective!flowerforyou

Balance!

A bit of everything. Don't guys enjoy the occasional trinket? I know mom will occassionally find a small stuffed toy, and it rides around in dad's truck. Notes in his lunchbox, letting him know she loves him, and wants him home safe.

And then words, safety, a touch.

I can't be the type of "nice guy", who gets walked all over.

I think you're confusing 'nice' with being weak. Nice guys can still have a backbone and treat a woman with mutual respect. Recent studies show that most women these days want a man who is kind/compassionate towards others, but that in no way makes him a whimp, which is really a misnomer about guys who are nice.

I've never looked at a guy for what he can do for me as far as material possessions. I can make or break my own life all on my own. True passion and love is all that's necessary. Money does not make one happy.

If I guy tries to impress me with his fancy car or money it is a BIG turn-off!!! Would you want to be with someone that thinks that superficially?

It would probably help their case not to come onto a dating forum and complain constantly about how 'nice guys always finish last' or 'why don't women like nice guys?'

It would further help their case if they didn't say 'nice guys finish last' to every prospective partner...just saying...

Unless they mean it in a dirty way of course, "hey baby, you know us nice guys always finish last right? come on, let me prove it to you." Epic win, I think....

just an opinion here, but it seems most of the people that post something negative about any sex in general...tend not to use the correct terms.

I don't know about that. All I know is that all women want to turn me into a gote.

Is that a hybrid of a regular goat? Maybe one that is a good speller?

Or is it just for the love of money and lust?
What happen to a woman wanting the kisses, hugs, excepting a polite man for who he is,and being their for him.Or is it all about her?

No, I don't require money and sex. Either will be sufficient.

Me, I want one simple thing and that is respect. All the hugging and kissing don't mean a damn thing if he doesn't respect me.

They probably would like someone that knows the difference between accept/except and there/their...just an opinion here, but it seems most of the people that post something negative about any sex in general...tend not to use the correct terms. Could be a connection, could be nonsensical, either way, this question is going to be like the others going on for pages and never having a solid answer.

I'll go ahead and say it.

If a woman wanted a simple thing, she'd find herself a man.

We are simple. Give us some beer and show us naked. Simple.

Half-goat, half-coyote. You wouldn't think it could work, but there ya go.
