I don't want it seem like i'm desperate, but hey, i'm turning 40...and nothing happened because for the simple reason, i never had the proper help. I can add pics. I know when i started back to posting a couple days ago, i was so depressed, i'm very sorry for that, that "dark" stuff does seem to turn alot of women off. My ad will NOT be dark, depressing and desperate.
I wanted to remove that one post where i sorta went off on a tangen, said too much there. If i can just "wipe that slate clean" and start over, i'm sure i can maker a much better 2nd first impression.

There are no "ads" here, I suppose you might consider your profile a sort of ad, because it's telling about you and you can show your photos there. It sounds like you're looking for some sort of "dating classifieds" section or whatever, like craigslist, only not as depraved. Good luck anyway.

Yep, the profile is sort of a 'ad'. Put down your interests, what you like to do, what type of person you are seeking, etc. Don't expect instant results, though, because instant results rarely happen no matter what dating site you are on. Another bit of advice is to go out, maybe to a local library or whatever suits your fancy and meet people that way. Don't just rely on a dating site, also be continually searching in your local area.

You're right, that other post you put up probably isn't the method to go about getting a date. Ladies want a confident man all the same that I would assume a man wants a confident lady.

You need to have someone place an ad for you in the Cozmel papers. I would have someone that knows the culture, you do not want to be scammed. I believe you will receive many responses if you go directly to the source but be VERY careful.

Join in the forums and get to know people.

Maybe Im missing something here... How much do you take in on SS?
Do they send you payments even if in another country? I'm not an expert in U.S social compensation but compensation here in Canada for SS.....you'd starve bro! forget about supporting someone else.

BTW I LOVE Cozumel.... and trust me when I say I'd have no prob being single in Cozumel Chicka bow wow LOL
