You got confused! 
that's another thread and I still feed the cats. Yes, am confused, going to bed early these days  and it feels like I've had no sleep. This new idea may not work at all. Where ya been?

I'm not sure I'm more b*tchy than I was before, but I've noticed I don't put up with as much as I used to I'd agree with this. And as is typical, immature men can't handle it, and degrade women by calling them such. Seriously...you've never met a woman like such and thought to yourself 'she's such a b*tch'? My sister has always been like that, so self involved that she has no awareness of how her words affect others. I've recently met 2 other women...separate worlds, that the same thought comes to mind after encountering their words or witnessing them. I really feel bad for them tho. When I call a woman a b*tch, I mean it with respect, and usually joking. But then I see a b*tch as relating to all of the good qualities that a b*tch dog is, which include a terrific mothering instinct, strong loyalty, and love, and willing to put her life before others to protect them if needed. And for me, there's also the link to various B*tch Goddesses, which were later degraded by patriarchal means. Essentially, they are strong women, who won't put up with crap. Otherwise she's just an arrogant hardass, and I'll call her such. My grandmother is a nasty old hardass, and while I respect her (barely) for what she's done over her life, I neither like her or have much to do with her. I feel bad for them as well, but I would in no way bad mouth a dog (or a pig for men, or cops). But that's how I view things. Ok, I forgot you live on a farm  . Arrogant hardass=b*tch. But see...they're not really arrogant. Well, don't know the 3rd well enough but maybe...

I've mellowed as I've aged and I know a lot of other women that say they have as well...

It has always intrigued me that women always aknowledge that all the other women are biatches but they aren't! Go figure???

who said all women? No generalizing. One even said it- after accusing me of stealing her leather jacket (!!!???)& after taking her to the E.R. after her accident. When she found it and AFTER calling my boss, who knows me so well she laughed. I asked her well? she said well, what? I said '..you called my boss!?! on a mistake?' she replied: (and I quote) "What can I say? I can be a REAL B*TCH") and offered no apology. I was being specific. And I had known this person for a few months. Men don't do that sort of stuff, at least none I've met.

the ones that age ungracefully are the ones that are bitter and don't get what they so easily expected to get when they your younger, prettier, skinnier...

I've mellowed alot too, alot of things aren't as important and then others are moreso... I've never been b*tchy just to be b*tchy, something has to set me off... When I get that way I may feel bad later b/c I can really rip someone up but in the end I know there was a reason... for the most part, I am the same way now but there are far fewer things that I will react to.. I am however set in my ways about certain things but my stance is matter a fact no b*tchy, although sometimes when someone doesn't like my not agreeing they will call me b*tchy but am I really? Or is it that they don't like not getting their way? |
