Funny thing tho, when they post a profile pic out of several, usually I see one that think they should be using instead  because it's nicer.
I think what happens sometimes is that the nicer pictures won't translate as well to the smaller "avatar" size, so they don't het used as defaults. Case in point: my own. I actually really don't like this black-and-white picture of myself that was taken during the one whole week I had bleached my hair totally white in preparation for adding a peacock-featheresque purple/blue/green gradient look, which looked utterly wonderful and yet which I was never able to get a photo of because that's the week my camera celphone went dead. //blah// I have been using this picture as a default just because it seems to shrink down best...but it really doesn't give an adequate picture of what I actually look like. I've got to find some means of getting a newer photo taken. Too bad the bright hair dyes only last about three weeks before they fade and look lousy...so I gave up and just dyed it all black about half a year ago. |

I like your default, I tried dyeing my hair blue when I was younger. Didn't work.

at other peoples profiles, especially if they are new or a rare poster, To get a idea of who they are? Occasionally. Most of the profiles I've seen are so sparse, it only takes 7 seconds to read them. And there's the occasional gem in the dirtpile. Or all the pics are of 2 or more people, so you never actually find out which one the profile belongs to....! I still don't get the everything but person profile pics...or none. This IS a social/dating site...yes? always...makes me feel like who you hiding from? Not sure about anyone else, but I'm hiding from men who like to add me to their favorites list. If I don't have a pic, I don't get added. Simple as that. There's a favorites list?
Women must do the threesome thing- haven't found guys doing that, but when men are just posting flowers to seascapes...OOHHHHHHH...nevermind
