Because of his hair. This is a bunch of crap. When I was 13 my hair was down to my butt. Whats it hurting, Afraid of a new generation of hippies. This is so uncool.

Where did this happen?! And unless he's got a swear word shaved into a buzz cut I see no reason why anyone, regardless of age, should be kicked out of an educational institution because of their hair style.

It's on yahoo. And it isn't that long. Looks like a early Beatle hair cut.

BALCH SPRINGS, Texas (Dec. 17) -- Taylor Pugh has been suspended from pre-kindergarten because he likes his hair a little on the floppy side.

The 4-year-old sat with a teacher's aide in a suburban Dallas school library Wednesday while his friends played and studied together in a classroom.

"They kicked me out that place," said Taylor, who prefers the nickname Tater Tot. "I miss my friends."

Taylor's locks -- long on the front and sides, covering his earlobes and shirt collar -- violate the school district's dress code. He has been punished with in-school suspension since late last month.

It states it violates school district's dress code.

Hair is now considered an accessory?

You will be assimilated. You must look and act and think like everybody else. You must not think for yourself. You must become one with the crowd. Resistance is futile.

I hate that crap.

hahahahahahahaha

it's Texas !

it's always been that way

when I was in school the dress code was for hair to not be touching the collar or you got sent home.

shirts had to be tucked in, piercings or tatoos would get you expelled, no shorts, a minimum length for skirts

hahahahaha you don't know redneck until you live in a small Baptist dominated town in Texas

this is the place where, thirty years ago, possession of a single joint of marijuana would get you life in prison
