Or do you just want to play silly games? Ok let me give you a point of view, based on my observations. There are 3 categories here on mingle 2 1. Very active women on the forums, who talk and chit-chat, but they aren't really looking for anyone. 2. There are the ones who are looking for the "one". Of course the person they are looking for doesn't exist. They are really looking for either Brad Pitt or Matthew McConaughey, but one day perhaps they realize, that those sort of people don't really look for dates on a free-for all mingle dating sites. Some of these also belong to either group number 1 (above) or group number 3. (below). 3. And then you got this massive amount of women, who never post anything on the forums, or maybe once or twice at most. For them, you can type your fingers off or send 10 thousand nudges, they won't respond. If you have seen the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith, they are pretty much like those mannequins he put into the DVD store to talk to, or the Chinese clay army, who line up and all have a face but you would have a similar success trying to make them talk. And then there are those people who do like to chat in the forums, but are also open to meeting new people. There needs to be a 4th category  .

I fall into category 4. I'm not looking for any kind of relationship and just sign on for the forums. If there was a talk/email category on the pull down menu, Ii would of chosen it. But there is not so I chose friendship. Blame the site for not giving more choices. It lacks in a lot of categories as far filtering out why someone is here and who they want to converse with. As far as all the women looking for Brad Pitt, I want to know what he ever did to the men on a dating site that bring him up constantly???? Do you know him? Did he personally do something to you? Poor guy gets blamed for so much because of the men that can't find a date on a dating site. I personally, wouldn't date him because he has a litter of small children and he looks like a billy goat lately. So please, stop blaming Brad for you not getting a date or a response. BTW, you mention nudges, they are stupid. That's why nobody is nudging you back. Hope this helps. |

Regarding item #2 -- if they meet 'the one', and all of their emotional and physical needs are met then that person DOES exist! It might not be some other girl's "Brad Pitt" but he is HER Brad Pitt. 
I doubt all people use a dating site as their only source for meeting people; however, I understand your point. 
BTW, Brad Pitt is ickie!!  He is a massive breeder now too.   So is Matthew McConaughey.
I'll take a Travis Fimmel though or a Brett Scallions!
