My fondest wish is that I could win the lottery and have enough money to start up a news channel that actually REPORTS NEWS. Well lets work on that..I'll work with ya cause I will only report the truth..actually I'd probably end up dead... Nahhh....I'd make sure you had bodyguards...lol Truth, no matter WHICH side it comes from, would truly be NEWS. you'd get me body guards...cool I so wanna work with you. lol Definitely. Can't have yuor pretty self getting all dead and stuff. Besides, if I didn't make sure you were protected, your boys would prolly kill me...lmao |

Charlie Sheen didn't make a billion dollars selling a " squeaky clean " image
actually neither did tiger, we are the only ones not privy to his immediate circle, you can't tell me those corp execs didn't hook him up with babes and a buick as part of the deal. Ever see the movie Blue chips that shaq played in, don't be naive enough to think everyone around him and in business with him was in the dark as much as his wife was. He's personable, the worlds greatest golfer and has a very unique story as to how he got to where he is...were you just as shocked about Kobe Bryant, or Magic Johnson....it's a known fact that sport figures while appearing squeaky clean, soil the sheets in almost every city...how many did Wilt say he slept with, 50,000...probably a low estimate. |

My boys are pretty passive, kinda like their mom. Except that oldest one..he's about half crazy, really. I actually do pity the fool that ever messes with me while he's a round. He has been out of state for almost 2 years now and it is different..when he is here I feel really safe. Since he's been gone it's just, I don't know. .. the other 2 of course would protect momma, just with him, it's just different, maybe "the oldest" mentality. I don't know. I'm pretty sure my boys would like you...especially if and when I tell them were leaving Utah at your advise..lol They don't like it here anymore. |

no corporate sponsor in their right mind will try to sell a bad image, well maybe anyone who endorses Iverson or Tyson, but mark my word, Tiger will end up making even more money for the gold digger to spend in the aftermath of all this......Hell Clinton did...

I dont think Tiger sold any image,, he just played a hell of a golf game, the image was imagined and created by fans and critics around the world,,,as usual. |

Here's the latest:
"DENVER (AP) - Attorneys for Charlie Sheen and his wife say they want to reconcile even though Brooke Sheen told police her husband put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. Attorney Yale Galanter, who represents Brooke Sheen, said Wednesday the couple is "very much in love" and "they want to try to work it out." Charlie Sheen's lawyer, Richard Cummins, confirms that the 44-year-old actor wants to reconcile." --------------------------- Wow, so now they're "reconciling" instead of ending this toxic relationship like so many Hollywood marriages. I would think that Brooke's behavior and Charlie's as well leading up to this was a clear sign to her and Charlie, that it just wasn't working out. I think they're both making a terrible mistake. They should just end it and move on. |

<<wonders if Oprah will publicly condemn Charlie,,,,,probaby not since his ratings have gone up and doesnt appear to be at risk of having a bad spin or any bad publicity or sponsorships pulled...

Ya know....it's shite like this that just bugs the hell out of me. With all the crap going on in this country, MAJOR problems get pushed to the back burner because people are SO concerned about what's happening with a person who's on TV. Millions of people lose their jobs....hundreds of thousands lose their homes.... BUT WAIT. We HAVE to know what the latest gossip is. It's no wonder this country is getting progressively dumber. There's a statistically valid premise called 'The Broken Window Effect'. It says that if 'broken windows' are not fixed, it invites more of the same at an increasing rate. It's been shown that apathy towards morally repugnant behaviour begets more of the same. Years ago in New York City, graffiti artists defaced just about everything and the crime rate was through the roof. But, when the broken windows were repaired quickly and graffiti was painted over promptly, the crime rate took a nosedive that couldn't be correlated with things like decreases in poverty, longer prison sentences for offenders, et al. See, I think Charlie Sheen's history of loose cannon behaviour is like graffiti. If it's tolerated, apologized for, or made to look 'cool', who's to say that those who get their vicarious release through watching him on tee vee won't act in the same way, breaking, as it were, society's windows? I think if more celebrities were exposed for their over-the-top behaviours, maybe celebrity mania, the real culprit behind promulgating bread-and-circuses dumbshow, would be called out for the societal vandalism it actually is. It's not the gossip-- it's NOT putting the pampered jerks on display in stocks in the town square that dumbs down society by allowing the posers to keep up the facade while staying on the money train. -Kerry O. |

I see no evidence that the attitude towards casual sex, that creeps into marriages, will decrease because we put celebs on front street. How many politicians decided to stop affairs although they crucified Clinton? People do things in the dark and in private that they intend to stay that way, I think it should remain private because non celebs who do it arent being dissuaded just because celebs are being called on it. |

I pity those who are married to these kind of guys but I find them amusing most of the time. Not when they are physically abusive but if the woman keeps staying, what can you do?
The poor women fool themselves into believing they can change these kinds of guys. I watch 2 and half men pretty much every day...lol I laugh and laugh. |

Sorry, I don't think domestic violence should be just between a perp and his victim. Make no mistake about it, it's hardly an act committed between consenting adults and it has ramifications for society that aren't limited to just the 'dark and private.' -Kerry O. |

I think crimes that arent of a public nature, should be between the accused the accuser and the court. Let people do their time and move on with their life ,,,isnt that the point of the system? I would have NEVER wanted the altercations with the husband of my youth to be the subject of popular/public folly. Those things are hard enough to go through without involving the whole world. |

Ok, but who exactly, is 'The Court'? It's all of us. We all have an interest in a society safe for all its members. Besides, restraining orders/PFAs have to be public for them to be of any use. We don't allow people who aren't famous to cloak their convictions and their abusive pasts behind a wall of privacy, why should we do it for someone who has money and fans? A friend of mine is a retired social worker. She often has told me that the only remorse habitual abusers have is that they gotten caught and exposed. And sometimes getting caught and shamed is the only thing that forces them to deal meaningfully with their bad behaviours. Without the guilt, they are happy to just keep going merrily down the same consequence-free road they're on. -Kerry O. |

"Prosecutors not likely to decide until February whether to file charges" ASPEN, Colo. - Prosecutors say they probably won’t decide until February whether to file charges against actor Charlie Sheen in an alleged domestic violence case in Aspen. Sheen was arrested Christmas Day on suspicion of menacing, second-degree assault and criminal mischief. Authorities haven’t identified the alleged victim, but numerous reports say the actor and wife Brooke Mueller had a heated fight at a dinner party. Authorities say Sheen is accused of using a weapon in the alleged incident. Police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro did not provide details on what kind of weapon Sheen is accused of using. Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin said Monday the menacing charge is the most serious, usually carrying a sentence of two to eight years in prison and a fine of $2,000 to $500,000. Mordkin says Sheen’s next court appearance is Feb. 8, and no decision on whether to prosecute him is expected until shortly before that. The 44-year-old star of “Two and a Half Men” is free on $8,500 bond. His lawyer didn’t immediately return a call Monday. ------------------------------ And we just started getting numb to the Tiger Woods Circus. Oy! This whole thing stinks, and the D.A. knows it. Another example of our corrupt justice system at work. It seems the situation must not have been as serious as they are trying to make it to be. Most likely he'll get off with a bunch of fines, that's nothing for him, I'm sure. He's gotta be making a decent amount of cash from Two and a Half Men. That show is on all the time. |

Most likely he'll get off with a bunch of fines, that's nothing for him, I'm sure. He's gotta be making a decent amount of cash from Two and a Half Men. That show is on all the time. As it should be. and this was ONE of my points. What failures people make in their private lives should have NOTHING to do with their livelihood or career. The two are SEPARATE issues. If someone makes good music, is a good actor, a good entertainer, or a good athlete, they deserve to make their living because of their ABILITY not to be blackwalled because of their private failings(unless they are tied in to the job they were supposed to do). When it comes to affairs and sexual morality , I find our culture full of hypocrites who would ruin others for the same things they do and for things that should remain IN THEIR BEDROOM. I cant imagine being the child of one of these couples seeing their marital problems displayed EVERYWHERE they looked. As I said before, non celeb 'convictions' are NOT splashed across television and papers for the whole WORLD to know about, They are public only in the sense of those who are in the local community or those who choose to go to a court and look them up. I dont think Celebrities should be treated differently in that respect. Let them live their lives. Even in the case of a domestic dispute, they should be able to get on with their life without WORLDWIDE stigma that affects their careers. I was the 'victim' of domestic, and my husband was remorseful without having to be crucified in front of the world. I went to the hospital once, it never, and I mean NEVER happened again. And I would not have wanted to deal with the whole worlds opinions and interjections about what we should do, nor would I have thought it fair for him to lose his job over it. Noone is perfect(and younger folks have more to learn, in general, than older ones). I was in the exact same situation as Rihanna once, (except I looked MUCH worse when it was done). My husband was remorseful, went to counseling,,and charges were not pressed after his initial holding(something else that is not uncommon). We were able to resolve and save our marriage because we didnt have the presure of everyone elses opinions telling us what we should do. |

Well, celeberties make their living by being in the public eye. It's not that they don't deserve their privacy, but they make money from the attention they get. They know that if they do something, the whole world is going to hear about it. That's kinda what draws most of them into it.

I kind of thought loving what they do might be what drew them, I suppose many are drawn by other things too. None of it excuses the constant invasion of their privacy and their family's lives. |
