Topic: Sometime | |

I think the next time a man asks "Would you like to out sometime?", my answer will be "I'll answer that question sometime". Is he actually wanting a date? Is he just feeling the situation out to see what my response will be? Isn't "sometime" a little too vague?

I met a guy like that recently. He'd tell me he wanted to go out, but waited me for me to make all the decisions. The second date never happened.

You are right, it is way too vague.
He should have just ask "Would you like to just have sex right here on the floor" right to the point and not vague!! |

A lot of guys ask that, it means they're a little nervous.

Well that would be a lot easier for a yes on no answer...lol

It's just a simple question

A lot of guys ask that, it means they're a little nervous. Is it really that hard to ask someone out for a certain time? "Lets go out sometime" is too vague. |

Just no pleasing some women.
This is just an ice breaker, allowing discussion for when and where. if this is really such a problem, saying no would definitely be the best. This will save him from going on a date with a nutcase. |

I will not dignify that question with an answer |

I never really thought about it... lol. Ya could always just ask them to Define "Sometime".

I guess if you haven't been out before, it could be an ice breaker. Though, I had been out with someone and he asked if we could go out again sometime. I asked him what he had in mind and when he wanted to go and all I got was "I dunno."

That's what I'M trying to figure out. It's confusing when I'm asked this and then there is no follow through on the guy's part. After all, he was the one that suggested it. |

Is it any different than when asked would you like to go out and the person asking receives, I'll letcha know as a response.
Some people are vague just in case things don't turn out well. |

I would think if that questions was asked and the answer was yes then it would be followed by "Would you like to have dinner next Friday around 7:00" or whatever. I haven't dated in over 20 years so you might not want to listen to anything I say... |
