Here in my little basement there is a fire in the stove, several oil lamps lit and a big mug of raspberry herbal tea. Comfy.

I too miss my woodstove. Got warm three ways! Cutting, splitting, and burning! For those with a perverted mind set!! lol i never really got the hang of the chainsaw...too much vibration, which sounds kind of funny coming from a woman...but i can split the schlit outta some wood...as long as it's not that stringy ole oak...

I miss my fireplace (log burning) but am so darn happy here in my new home in Maine....wouldn't mind a fire though and someone to watch it burn with me..... Merry Merry to all and to all a magical holiday weekend!!!!
