Nothing is more aggrivating to me than "touchy" people. You know those people that feel the need to always touch you? I don't mind it so much if a female touches me, but if you're male, don't touch me!

Conversly, I do not touch or hug people at work, or strangers... just not approprate...
Now what annoys me is that random person that wants to talk to you, tell you a long story, all the while tapping you constantly!!! That just irks me!!!
That's all I'm trying to say. 
If touching is done appropriately, I don't mind it, or I can atleast get over it. It's when it's not appropriate that it bugs me. |

I don't mind a handshake or hug......but I don't like close talkers.
I had a guy once who was talking randomly at a function (his wife was standing close by) and he just kept following me around my daughter's stroller. Every time I would move, he would move closer. It was maddening! I finally had to put the stroller between him and I and use it like a wall. I can hear you from OVER THERE!!.....

I like being touched. I really do, but I never initiate many times, I'm afraid of rejection and some women get freaky for even a hug.

Funny, women hug and smooch each other all the time. I guess it may be a Southern thing.
Because I do notice men don't do that with each other unless close family and then it's like the distance hug. I don't want strange men touching me that's for sure. Women and men.. certainly have different boundaries. At least hug Santa today!!!!! Merry Christmas.

I guess I'm odd, I don't like anyone touching me not even family or friends. I don't mind if it's a tap on the shoulder to get my attention but I don't like being hugged or anything like that.
This holds true for men or women, I just don't like to be touched. I will put up with it if it's physical therapy or massage therapy though. |
