There is enough left over.. I made a 12lb ham as well and well too much of everything.. I am so used to cooking for a large crowd that cooking for 3 is kind of tough...

On Christmas we always have a fully stocked kitchen and just play it as lays, 'tis about the gifts, music, gathering, movies, walks etc. more ...

That sounds nice Kate... All holidays are full fare here.. My boys won't even let me get away with not making fresh sauce.. I was so tired the other night I debated it.. My son said "don't even think about it"

... Yeah, we teach 'em the ropes, then they grow and hold the psychic gun to our heads and DEMAND the same ritual from here to eternity!

It is almost as if the children are the enforcers of the tried and true, then forever maintained routine!

It keeps it sooooo cozily familar ... if exhausting!

My ex husband gave me 25 lbs of sunflower seeds ( and he wonders why I divorced him)

and my sister's family gave me a hand held massager and one of those heating pad that vibrate

I got a jewelry box, a couple of handpainted wine glasses, a blender, wine and a lovely frame with a pic of a bunch of friends (sorta) it was the thought and the special occasion that made it so special...

He actually ordered it from a feed store around here They thought it was to mix in other things for birds and even thought he was crazy for that much. When they found out it was for his ex wife....they really knew he was crazy
