I havent had a white Christmas since somewhere in the 90's.Last family reunion we had in Indiana.


Neice and I even made a snowman, well,we tried to that is.


Id love that again , kids and a LITTLE snow really make the day.

Bdrm is pretty done except I gotta go thru a bunch of my b/w pics and have them blown up and framed and hang on my walls.



I remember SOMEONE mentioning they were too bare !!!


Got the puuurfect curtain set and hung them.Totally makes the room complete with them up.

Ill take a pic after I clean off my desk.Dont really want desk by my bed but have no other choice.Kinda takes away from the look a byt.But oh well, still looks

Is asking if they have a truck dispersing salt on the roads totally ridiculous ???

I came up with a plan for lighting, dont know if it will work or not.

Stain the a couple or doors and one drawer. Some are already done.

Trim, toilet, one towel rack is another to go. Seal grout. Hook up new sink faucet and drain

No they have snow routes they plow first, then other main roads and salt/sand crews have been working all day and will continue 24/7 till its gone. All Highways were shut down by 6:00pm you cant get in or out of the state right now.

And I had trouble just puttin my curtains up !!!


The brackets were really cheap ones and the little nails, well, lets just say they were cheap too.Came with rod set.

So I hammered in two big strong screws and( that so does NOT sound right) and laid rod on top for now.



Still looks niice though.

I hate curtain rods...they are always cheaply made and very expensive to buy.

That sux, esp for Christmas.Are ya gonna maybe TRY to get over there tomorrow somehow even if weather hasnt improved ???

Exactly.Pain in the arse to put up alone.Curtains are a little on the heavier side as well.They were $16.99 PER PANEL !!! But she came down to $9.99 so I got the good ones that just make my room.Theyre a deep olive green that pulls same color out of my comforter set.Red wouldve been too dark and gold to matchy matchy with walls and carpet.

I figure I'll see what it looks like mid morning after some traffic hits the roads, the hard part even after it improves is getting through neighborhoods and up driveways.

If wind dies down and i cant drive Im thinking I'll try to walk, its only 2 miles max

No they are here, but they will stay if Im humping it in waiste deep snow

Gonna walk into work Monday morning to an office being reconstructed.Its gonna be a total mess and very uncomfortable to work in.

I know you are a big boy and don't need my help, but just indulge me please. If you are going to walk, please wear many layers and call your destination before you leave so they can watch for you.
