I chose this user ID because many friends said it fits me. I hope most of you feel the same way. I am not receiving very many responses to my inquiries and I do not understand why. It would at least be nice to receive a reply saying they are not interested instead of just ignoring me.

Ed, sir i fear that the lack of response from people is just the general lack of manner. if i could apologize on their behave i would, you are much older than me and probably much wiser but it is evident that we are in a shallow world ed, shallow, shallow world. good luck with your search and i hope people understand that indifference sometimes leaves a sting.

You might want to add some intrests,or hobbies.Maybe more pics.Your profile seems quite honest,hate to say this,but many can't deal with honesty.They are looking for glitter and sparky info.Personally I think what you have written is a good start.Good luck in your search.

Here is the simple truth. The pool of females from which you hope to select a pal, is dramatically smaller than the pool of males wanting the same thing. So, when you jump in said pool, be prepared to drown. Do not go gently into that good pool. Post and post until the shock of the cold wears off. Don't pee in it. Grab onto any objects floating by. They may be drowning also. Do not check their height and weight first. Save yourself. |

Qiao you sound like a very smart person and I respect your opinion, but I would hope there were many more women out there that were not so shallow.
I know in the past if someone sent me a message or e-mail and I didn't answer it right away then I was introuble with that person. I guess equality doesn't exist between men and women. |

I will be careful. I just wish there were more lovely ladies near me like yourself. When I say lovely ladies I mean both lovely inside as they are outside. Of course being a member of a small pool doesn't excuse impolitness. I believe there are certain things that we learned when we were children that should have carried forward to our adult lives.
