When I first found out I was going to be a dad,,,THAT raising and
self felt duty,,,was in MY MIND THEN,,,to be my calling..
NOW,,,as my kids are grown,,,and some how through cahnce,,I came here.....
I truly feel,,,that THIS PLACE,,,,,as to unite friendships with,,,
ones who our in pain,,or sarrow,,,,and I feel THIS is my calling to do,,,,to help ALL,,,who feel,,,,,down,weak,troubled,depressed,alone.
ALL,,,,,and through three years now on here,,,,I have helped many to
know,,,,their not alone,,,and they have a real friend..wink

I think my purpose was to show my first husband what love and family are and to have my son and daughter who are going to do great things.

Ok, that part is accomplished, so whats next?

I don't think we were put on this earth for a specific reason, but I do feel that we were. Perhaps that's a fine distinction but logically speaking, I think we are all just cells and chemicals reacting to our ever changing environment, organisms simply adapting to survive.

Having said that, I do have a sense that I have a specific purpose in my life. I don't see it as one ultimate one though, but more as the totality of them, each born out of both necessity and desire. Recognizing my current purpose, and rising to meet the challenge, is therefore my ultimate purpose, if that makes any sense.

yes, but only works if you figure out what your purpose is an actually do something about it. Otherwise, your life is meaningless and painful and you will never have peace.

I believe our purpose is to be there for others that need us. I find that I have come into others lives as friends and I am able to help them through a difficult time. And people enter my world for the same purpose.
I ended up on Mingle just playing around on my Blackeberry one night not long after my separation. I wasn't looking for dating but for some reason I ended up here and met all of you. It has made my adjustment so much easier. Therefore at this time your purpose was to help me adjust and you have all done a great job.
