Topic: Account has been deactivated...... | |

It's sad sometimes to see someone has deactivated their account.
Common message: User Deactivated Account has been deactivated. I'm sure there are various reason.... So, why would you Deactivate YOUR ACCOUNT?????? |

I don't know but I can tell you that there are a few people who had their accounts deactivated by the Admin's I think. Still trying to track scammers though.

I have deactivated my account several times. A couple of times it's been because I knew I would be away for an extended period of time. Other times because I was trying to get away.

You fall madly in love with somebody who has millions of friends and so you no longer are looking for either!

Or, you die... :-( That has happened to a couple of folks here.........and it makes you wonder about the 'online life' If something were to happen to you, who else has your passwords/acct. info. so that they could close things out for you. Inform your 'online friends' what happened to you? |

i have all for different reasons.. ill share one with you though lol!
it became at one point in my life i was on here daily, and embarrased to say.. some days 11 hours when i did not work..other days 8 hours when i did work that day! to put it bluntly it was my life and i did nothig else but type in the forums.. i thought that if i deactivated i could stay away.. i think the time i did that it lasted for 3 days lol! .. now i just leave it on.. and dont spend all day here.. the other reasons would just stir drama so there is no need for them to be put on here.. will i do it again maybe, maybe not but im sure i would always come back.. lol yea sometimes people just want a break.. ive done it for that as well.. |

I will only do it once, I never come back to fail things, when i leave it will be forever, I have been here over a year and still do not see the difference with any other sites, still lots of bullshitters, know it all and clicks like on all sites.
I joined here because it was completely free but even that is slowly changing so...... actually you can never leave here your username is here for ever, still do not understand why since I was in many other sites with forums and that was never an issue and you could delete your account not just deactivate it, if I had known that when I signed in I would not have joined since i do not like to leave my name (username) in places that do not interest me anymore. |

Inform your 'online friends' what happened to you? Have you seen the numbers of profiles "last seen over a month ago" some of those folks haven't logged on in over a yr. And the haven't been deactivated. My question is...do you have some thing in the final instructions about closing out your online life? Some people keep their online life quiet. |

yes i have seen them not recently because i dont go browsing.. but it doesnt mean the wont come back next week right? of if someone emails them and the get a note that way if they have not turned the email notices off?
and my answer would be this, my roommate is a mingler as well, so im sure he would inform everyone here that i died.. I Buttons give Polson the right to give mingle2 the notice of my death if it shall occur.. Im also sure if that ever occured rather i be deactivted or him be deactivated or both he would reactivate to tell everyone just incase anyone cared lol.. really im serious though that is what would happen with me.. how about you ? |

I deactivated my account a few times because I found it was too active for my liking. I wanted to teach my account to take it easy, to take its activity in stride. It worked.
Sometimes my account is not active enough, if you ask my mother. So in those times my mother stands on its back, and I prod it with electric cattle-prods or with Elephant-sticks. I used to use burning cigarettes on its skin, but I gave up smoking so that option is out. |

Inform your 'online friends' what happened to you? The weirdest thing would be getting a message from a person who has already passed away. Message from beyond the grave! |

i have all for different reasons.. ill share one with you though lol! it became at one point in my life i was on here daily ... Forums can be very addictive places. I learnt this from experience. They can also be a lot of fun, providing you understand how to play. If you are meeting people and joining social events relating to the forum then that's fine, but if you are never progressing beyond writing messages then it may be a waste of time. I think there are more positives to forums (fora?) than negatives. (Have you been eating marmite, Patsfan?) |
