I have a habit of finding REAL winners. If you have a habit of finding real winners, then why are you on a dating site? <---- Confused.

It seems as though no matter how yo message some one they read it and simply move on. Even simple coments on thier profile or maybe an activity that we may have in common, they simply go unresponded to. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but your on date site... Don't you usually talk to random people and maybe take the opportunity to explore their personality? Is it because I don't have picture? I still don't understand that, physical attraction is an important part of a relationship but what's the harm in saying hi to some one or maybe learning a little about them? Shallow ppl suck. And I do have a pic, just don't know how to upload it off of my phone. shallow people do suck huh? expecially those overgeneralizing shallow people who seem to believe that all "mingle women" react the same to messages. and of course those shallow people who complain about all women not responding but gives us no clue to the messages you are sending really suck huh? yep overgeneralizing about groups over anything is shallow and those people really do suck. |

Shallow ppl suck. And I do have a pic, just don't know how to
upload it off of my phone. I've read in various threads (here) that woman will not consider a Profile if there are no photos. A common theme seems to be, "if I have photos up, they should too". In a sense, it does tend to complete the image [sic] of a person. Most phones allow you to send a photo to an email address (obviously your phone has to have the capability) using it's "email" facility ... or, you should be able to send an SMS to and email address (send it to yours). The other option would be to find a friend to take a photo of you. |

Not having a picture is going to be a huge problem if you are emailing someone cold. Meaning you have never come across them in the forums. I can chat much more easily with people I meet in the forums firt.

I think people are just afraid that they might find someone they like and then they're not what they expect at all. That's what I'm afraid of. Everyone's always looking for a winner. But in that game someone always loses. Why should I have to compete with Tom Cruise? I'm not the worst looking guy, but seriously my personality makes up for it. I'd rather girls not respond to my emails because they have nothing in common with me than how I look. Nobody wants Tom Cruise except Xenu.  EVERY woman wants Brad Pitt. Get it right if you are going to generalize all women on dating forums. Brad is the go to guy to compare yourself with.
BTW. you really should put more effort into your profile if you want responses. Just saying that a one line profile is never good. |

Quite masochistic, no? So you think shallow people suck, eh? Well let me ask you this...do you email those without a pic or people you aren't physically attracted to? You put down you are athletic. Do you contact those that put "heavy set"? Let's see. You've been here for 18 months and not once could you upload a pic? You have no photo and you list your profession as "fabrication". The cake is a lie.
Here is my advice. You are 21, get your butt off a dating site and meet people in real life. |

I have tried about all I can think of to upload a pic and
emailling it to myself doesn't help because my phone is my computer. Unless someone can tell me how to upload from an iPhone. And I am a fabricator. I do custom copper in the city because it nobody seems to give a damn about craftsmanship and the time effort someone puts into things anymore all they care about is the price tag. I also fab stainless smoke smoke domes for custom fireplace applications. It's a family business and my dads been doing it for 30 years. As for getting out there and looking around, I do. However, and not to "overgeneralize" here, but it's seeming the girls are becoming more like the stereotypical male when it comes to a monogomous relationship. ( sorry to the ladies that are faithful) I'm just saying that they are few and far between at least from personal experiances. To address the "do you message those who list heavy set" yes I do. Every message isn't a hook up attempt it's just simply to talk to people and maybe form a friendship. I also message those without a profile picture as well. still to no avail. |

go to the library, make a temporary email account and send the pic to it. then you can upload it to mingle from there where there's a will... |

If this site isn't " firewalled" then that is an option I have not
considered. Also bear in mind that getting my picture up on mingle is not necessarily at the top of my priorities list lol |
