We have people that are left-handed, and right-handed. Well what I'm about to say is really what I do, and I don't know what my situation could be named. Ambidextrious is the ability to use left or right on one thing.
I write with my left. I eat with my left. I played guitar with my right. I use my iPod with my right. My right arm is stronger. When playing baseball, I bat right, and throw with right. I use the mouse at a computer with my right. I put my sunglasses on with one hand: my left. I never used the right "shift" key on the keyboard. When typing using one hand like a calculator or phone, I use my left. If I use the opposite hand on anything mentioned above, its nearly impossible. |

When you find out since I am also left handed and use my right for many things that I can't use my left hand for |

My left hand seems to do the precise things, while my right does the stronger stuff...lol

What if you can pee with no hands? What's that called? But do you always hit the inside of the bowl, and not have a stray line if you cough or something? If so, you are just a "Master Pee Pee Technician" |

I don't know but if you sit on your hand till it gets numb and then whack off with it it feels like it's not your right or your left hand.

My wireless mouse left clicker actually wore out from over use, or just poorly made, damned Chinese. So I had to reassign the controls to right click instead of left click. Took some getting used to, now when I use anyone else's computer, I tend to right click when I should be left clicking.

It's called Cross Dominance. You do some things better with one hand, other things better with the other. You are right that ambidextrous means using either hand with equal facility (what if one is equally LOUSY with either hand?).
I've been told that I eat left handed, while I'm mostly a righty. I also trained myself to use both hands to do reverse actions out of impatience. That is, I used to remanufacture bicycles, and I taught myself to screw on one screw clockwise, while simultaneously screw on another one either clockwise, or counterclockwise as needed, just so I could put more screws on more quickly. Now if I can just master this walk and chew gum thingy... |

I write right-handed, throw left, shoot left in hockey but can bat both ways in baseball. I've been told my grandfather on my mother's side was the same way. Mixed Brain Dominance? On the next Oprah.
