They said they would tell me where I was going someetime this month, but they only have one week left before winter break...would be after News Years Eve weekend. I wish they would hurry up and tell me where I am going!!! I hope it is closer this time...not an hour away like before!!!!!!

She doing ok, just sore but still has a slight bump on her head and scraped her knuckles...poor thing, she only weighs about 90 lbs..

I know why you are making it now but I have to wait til just before to make my cookies and candies because I have 10 adults and 10 grandkids that would eat it all before Christmas....I learned my lesson They will even eat them frozen So I spend one entire day baking and cooking. Another day, the grandkids come and we make cookies together. They always make peanutbutter blossoms and fudge. I makee all the other cookies and candy...believe me.....dozens and dozens and dozens!!!!!!!!

Sunday I'm making cookies.. Need to have 3 pkgs ready on monday to go in the mail to friends around the country and one is getting a bottle of "HOG HEAVEN" bbq sauce...

Yes I need to get my done because of going to the hospital but we used to make tons of cookies.. My youngest daughter was in the Navy 12 yrs and I always sent 3-4 boxes so she could share.. She said some kids never even got a card..

WOW - fudge sounds good... Getting together with my girls on Sunday and making cookies and peanut butter balls... When my mother was living, she baked and made candy for a month before Christmas...Unfortunatly some of it was very stale when Christmas came but we all still enjoyed it and Mom was so happy and proud that she had done it all... When she became unable to do that anymore, her nurse would make them (under my Mom's supervision that is)... Her special was the peanut butter balls and my girls learned how to make them from the best and they carry the tradition on to this day. I guess I am a little nostalgic because my Mom died 12 years ago tomorrow and her birthday was December 17.. So, every Christmas brings many fond memories and sadness too..

ONe yr I was so proud because I had all my cookies made early and put away so the kids couldn't eat them. WEll come Xmas time and we were having company and I went to get some cookies and they were almost all gone...LOL the kids found them and were eating on them before I got home from work..lol
