The whole city shut down...95% of businessess, all the malls, everything...the wind is finally letting up some so they can now start to plow tonight. I have, as do many others, huge drifts. Mine are about 3-4 feet, some are as high as 12 feet!!! Schools are still closed tomorrow...because of the roads, but also, the wind chill factors too. 20-30 below. Can you tell the man up north to keep the wind up there? LOL I still have not got my front door cleared...about 16-17 inches of snow fell so natually, it is hard to open the door, plus with the wind blowing, it probably is higher. Thought I would do that tomorrow when the winds die down more. Not going anywhere anyways tonight!

Mary the wind has started here now.Its really bad. They said this am there were over 40 car crashes in mt city.Thats a lot. hi viv how are you doing?

Hey Betts I'm good. your flyover scared one of the longhorns and he ran thru a fence and we had to spend the morning chasing him down and fixing fences!

There were hundreds here...dumb people don't believe the DOT when they say to stay off of the roads!! Told them not to expect to be towed out til this weekend because the roads all have to be plowed before they lift the tow band. You know it's bad when they even pull the plow trucks off the roads!!!

watchn the news, even some of the DOT plows are having problems getting around Here too. The wind is suppose to let up soon, then they will finally be able to seriously start plowing. Things are shut down again tomorrow....well at least the schools....I am sure the malls and stores will try to open tomorrow...too much income lost after everything being closed today. It was sunny and beautiful here this afternoon and all my snow melted Sno melted? He's melting..he's meltiinngggg.....
