Well we had a WONDERFUL appt with Christopher's new neurologist yesterday afternoon. We spent almost 2 hours with the nurse practitioner and the neurologist. Lots and lots of questions about him and his history with Lowe Syndrome and the seizures. They told me that the dose of meds he was taking to control the seizures was ridiculously low! They said that as active of a child he is and his behavior issues that an EEG will NEVER happen. They doubled the dose of meds for the next week and then the following week, double dose in the morning and triple dose in the evenings. she said that he should have NO seizures on these meds and if he has even one in the next two weeks that she wants me to call them and they'll adjust the meds again. I feel so much better now that we've talked to the neurologist, she was amazing!!

I am so happy, I was skeptical since its a Childrens Hospital doc and I've had nothing but bad luck with those docs. But this one is amazing, she sure knows her stuff! The nurse practitioner was amazing as well.
