Maybe not, and he was and is a popular character in the SW Universe. What IS a joke, is the way Lucas killed him off in the script. Maybe for plot development it was necessary to kill Maul in order to advance the timeline and introduce Dookoo, but Maul didn't deserve the cheap death the way he did. |
