Actually there are jobs out there but you have to know where to look and be flexible. Network through everyone you know. A lot of people joke about McDonald's until they learn how much their managers and franchise owners (which are required to have been a former employer).

PS if you know can you share? I know a lot of people that need a job.. None that could support a family off an MD salary but there are too many that have lost so much and I'd like to throw some help if there is more that I'm not aware of..

It's a funny job, economy is. We have all these factories, with tools and stuff all in working condition, all this office space with good computers and lovely overhead lights, and cubicles, and we have all these businessmen who want to capitalize on workers, and all these skilled and unskilled and professional people who would love to work, pay tax, support their families and make the capitalist rich... yet nobody does anything. As if we were paralized by the magic wand of a bad witch.

All we need to do is go in to work, all of us, all at once, tomorrow morning, and work, and the employer will give us our paycheque at the end of the week, and we'd start to spend the money on Xmas gifts... and everything would get back to normal.

Why, oh why is it we can't do that? I see that the only stumbling block is Obama bin Laden.
