Where is it? Why can't people seems to have open and honest communication? Don't people realize that it is better to speak the truth to begin with then to tell a lie to 'spare' their feelings?

Its because people are to worried what others think of them.

Me and my latest had open and honest communication and it's why we're still on speaking terms altho ex's. It IS so very important to ANY successful relationship be it a work one, a friendship or a romance.
It seems easier for some to tell stories rather than tell the truth. It's a crying shame.

Anytime I try to communicate , I'm usually disappointed by the results.

I completely agree. Everyone should just speak their minds, no matter how harsh, ugly or horrible it may be. If the person you tell this to is still standing there-- they are worth it. Only a true coward walks away when you spill your heart out in honesty.

I'll listen, I'll talk...my best relationships are those where there is a good open communication line. I have a great open line with my boys. Have always been strait up with them, never sugar coat anything with them. For the ages they are and to still come to their mom with the stuff they do...
