It may be small, but I give up my rights to water usage. I use very
little of it brushing my teeth, showering, doing dishes. I want there to be as much for my grandchildren as I had growing up. I love plastic bags for shopping. I gave those up. I only shop where paper is used.Recycled paper. Or I take my own. I gave up traveling very far. Less gas usage. Inviromental issues. I walk many places. I stay cooler in the winter and warmer in the summer, to save energy. I quit wearing clothing from animals. If we can make it without animals, I will wear it. I clean my house with only natural products. No chemicals. I do this in my work as well. I don't chase down a bug and kill it anymore. I will try and capture them and release them. I don't know, I went through something and this is the way I am now. I am even almost about to quit eating meat. I think that is giving up something to help out. Without thinking; I most likely would put myself in harms way for another. Kat |

Is it cold there Fred? It is here, well, cold for us, down to 14
overnight, and raining too...yay!!! Rat problems, do you have a friends fox terrier you can borrow? Another way, we used to trap rats, was with a 20 litre bucket, and some vanilla soaked pumpkin seeds in the bottom, and a 'bridge' for the rats to get across to the rim, of the bucket... I would then, put the lid on the bucket and drive them into the bush..and let them go, same with a possum explosion we had, one drought...we would trap them with a feral cat cage and then relocate them. Dont know if this helps, but got to be kinder than rat sack... |

14 over night! I just had my furnace kick in! We still get down to
single digits at night. Hopefully not for too much longer. I've trapped mice with a 20l pail, it does work! |

In the days before. People used to get those green Hedge Apples and put
them under cabinets and around thier house. Nothing would come around Rats, mice, spiders,or about all insects. but do not let a small child get ahold of them they can kill a horse if they eat enough. Shalom... Miles |
