hmmm

it never occurred to me that not thread-tending could be considered rude.

from my perspective i just consider it a waste of time to sit there staring at my own thread and anxiously refreshing every few minutes to look for replies as they come in. i sometimes do just that, but other times i go off and read other threads or go do something else. sometimes i post a thread that i just thought of in the moment and then log off and check back later.

WELL,,you could-of at least stayed long enough to flush it for us BOTH,,, women!!!!!lol

What bothers me is when people start personal conversations in a thread totally off topic
Or some threads that seem 'inviting' then you get snubbed after being asked to join.
People on sites acting rude where they wouldn't dream in person...suppose its the 'we'll never meet' syndrome.

The world is a rude place so I usually don't let it get to me, but what is an issue for me, is the rudeness in personal relationships.

The lack of manners and courtesies.

When they don't apologize sincerely or ask for forgiveness, lack the ability to forgive others, and don't make pennance or atonement to make things right again.

The lack of emotional awareness and how their behavior affects others.

When everything is "wrong" about you, and it's all about them, and they lack the ability to acknowledge where they are at fault.

On the rare times they do something for you, it is with the intent that they expect something in return.
