Topic: What have you learned? | |

I've learned that no matter what, I cannot make someone else do the right thing. And when they won't, I just have to learn to deal with it and move on.

I learned that I too don't want to face emotion. I would much rather make the other person hate me so I can let it go, than face it and figure it out. That goes for family, friends, and everyone else. I've also learned that I will never understand this attitude. Not singling you out.. I just know others like you and will never understand. |

I learned that what I had been busting my neck for most of my adult life never really existed and it really didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

I learned that the perception of others can really show me things about myself. I learned this is a valuable lesson to always remember, and to use with my son. I learned that I am not always right. I learned that I must practice what I preach.

I have enjoyed reading everyones comments...
I have learned that no matter how bad or how hard I have things in life, there are others that are in more pain, worse situations - or in more deperate need than I (truly learned how fortunate I really am)... I am also beginning to learn more about compassion, tolerance... and openness toward other people and their differences... |
