The pics of just you are really good, but there are way too many of you with other people. I can't really tell much about you from those.
Main text is good but could use a little elaboration. What you have is OK but needs more depth. I would also fix the following: In Interests, "parting" I'm assuming should be "partying." In the profile text: "board" should be "bored." "personally" looks like it should be "personality." "your" should be "you're." "dont" should be "don't." "thats" should be "that's." |

Well the way your post was coming across it sounded like it.I realize you were probally trying to help but that seemed more negative then positive. I'm a firm believer that effective communication requires proper language skills. I know not everyone shares this view, but it matters to me. And I'm not trying to be negative, I'm just suggesting a few corrections that could be made to improve the profile. The OP, of course, has the option to ignore me completely! |

I think if u are only here for friends, why include an age limit? I have friends on here from 19 to 68, and I learn alot from each and every one of them!!

What you have is OK but needs more depth I agree. As far as the spelling and grammar...it looks like it was fixed. Those things don't bother me a lot (as long as I can understand what is said, but there are quite a bit of people that it does make a difference to. |

I have friends on here from 19 to 68, and I learn alot from each and every one of them!! point taken.. and i do learn lots of things, but i just think that the friends who i hang out with alot should be around my age, we have more in common that way.. where as i dont think a 59 year old guy would want to do what a 19 year old girl does. get me? and also (this isnt regarding to you..) but i think its weird how a persons first impression is her gramma.. hmm |

you: 8/10
impression: cheeky rolf, thought there was a war goin on between lex and sean. this is where the age difference kicks in. older people always try to guide the young ones while the young ones think the older ones are annoying. ^^ nice post, full of variety. each person in this post is so different to the rest. |

It's just that I think if you're going to ask people for an honest opinion, you shouldn't be surprised if not everyone is 100% complimentary towards the whole thing. Profiles are like people, nobody's perfect, and we all have some room for improvement. Not directed at the OP here, but I have run into a lot of people who become offended when offered constructive criticism. Seems to me that if you don't want to hear what people think, you shouldn't ask for those opinions! But that's just me.... |

i get what you mean, lex. im the same, if a person asked me an honest question he/she deserves an honest answer.
but sometimes you got to explain your point/ ease people in. you're the type that walks in bang bang, get the job done and leave. but if you slow down a bit you'll notice that sometimes people asked something, they don't really want to know the answer. not direct at any1 in particular here; but some females asked me questions i pretend that i don't know the answer, because i know they already have the answer. to the OP, im thinking she already knows her "rating" and just want to make more friends. but she was able to take criticism. i had worse. girl with bad hair asked me what i think about her new hair. i said you look like a broom stick. you can guess what her response was, lol |

That's true, I really don't see much point in tiptoeing around things, especially in a situation where the person (ostensibly) wants an honest answer. I mean, diplomacy, per se, has its place but I think profiles are basically pretty clear-cut -- for me, anyway -- I have an idea of what I want to see, what it takes for me to be able to make some sort of assessment (albeit limited) of a person -- and if they can't provide that much, then I'm just not going to be very interested regardless. but if you slow down a bit you'll notice that sometimes people asked something, they don't really want to know the answer. I think that's probably the case more often than not. People tend to operate on automatic pilot a lot, and "How are you?" is SUPPOSED to elicit "I'm fine, how are you?" regardless of the underlying realities. not direct at any1 in particular here; but some females asked me questions i pretend that i don't know the answer, because i know they already have the answer. to the OP, im thinking she already knows her "rating" and just want to make more friends. but she was able to take criticism. i had worse. girl with bad hair asked me what i think about her new hair. i said you look like a broom stick. you can guess what her response was, lol Well, that gets back to the "diplomacy" I was talking about earlier -- !! -- |

lex: hm, interesting response. even though, i'm younger. you sound like who i was.
sometimes you gotta try and listen to what people DON'T say. say "hi, how are you?" depends on the person, situation ...etc. has different meaning. it could be - uh, hey it's that guy...maybe i should say something - hey, haven't seen that guy for a long time, i wonder how he is - arg, it's that guy again...oopse he saw me, "hi, how are you?" - err, it's weird if we i don't say anything. - hm, i want to get to know this person. if i say "hi" he says "hello" conversation is finished, "how are you?" will keep the conversation going longer. words are just words, they're tools we use. a tool can be used by the right person/wrong person, the right way/ wrong way. words don't matter much to me, intention is what really counts and is the hardest to determine. OP: please excuse us, tend to make this post about us. |
