Sooooooooooo when is the last time you got something free.....no matter how big or small?

The Sam's club gives out free samples of food that I normally would not eat ... but since it is free I tend to try it anyway.

About a month ago, I went out with a male friend. First, we got free drinks from a guy at the bar who stated he like women with long hair. Then the owner of the bar brought us some snack mix and two more beers (and offered me a job). Then, another guy bought us a beer each. That was probably the best FREE night of my life.

As for myself this morning decided to go get me some breakfast at Whataburger and bring it home to eat. There was only one car in front of me, but I had to wait it seem like forever. I get to the window and they started handing me my drink and food. Then they just said have a nice day. I'm sure I kind of looked at her stunned as I explained that I had not paid yet. They just said we know you had to wait too long for your food have a great day......

Does getting the drippy d**k for free count?

Last night. I was watching the Colts-Pats game with my father, and about 2 minutes before halftime, he says he just remembered he has a super discount at Kohl's, and tonight is the last night. Store closes in an hour or two. So being that the score was 24-7, I said sure, let's go, Pats will win, look how far they're up. So we went, and he bought me 2 flannel shirts that I liked and one golf shirt. He said it was on him, I didn't owe him anything. We got back in time to watch the final quarter and watched a stunning comeback by the Colts to win the game. Had some father-son time watching the Sunday Night Football game, and he bought me some new shirts, I thought that was awesome.

Hey always nice to go out for a few drinks and end up not having to spend anything and leaving with a smile.....

This past week I was helping a friend that owns a florist shop.
At teh end of the day she gave me a whole bouquet of flowers that someone ordered then didn't pick up or pay for.

I still look at them and smile.

Hey always great to get something from someone unexpected kewl not only that you still got to see the last of the game and spend time with your Dad which is Priceless anyway....

today god gave me a new day

Thanks TxsGal, I'm one of the few 40 y old men left that still believe in father-son bonding. I have to twist his arm to watch a football game with me though, but he does know the rules and the strategies. He's not exactly a huge sports fan, but he does like to be entertained and share some fun moments.

Well it wasn't technically 'free' - it cost one penny. I was shocked and pleased when I went to order and pay for my bridesmaid dress for my brothers wedding. Between both pieces (top and skirt) I'd expected to pay $400 (ugh!) but when she told me the total, it was only $167 - she'd given me the skirt for a penny. I don't understand it still, but I was happy none the less.
