Topic: Some things will never change | |

Some things will never change, some people will never change. Sometimes we just have to accept that some things are never going to change. IDK if that's good or bad, but whatever it is, it is what it is. That's all I gotta say about it.

“Siddhartha does nothing; he waits, he thinks, he fasts, but he goes through the affairs of the world like a stone through water…; he is drawn and lets himself fall. He is drawn by his goal, for he does not allow anything to enter his mind which opposes his goal.”
It ain't nothing but a thing.......... |

The quote about Siddharta is from the book "Siddharta" by Hermann Hesse. A novel about the Buddha, possibly my most favorite book ever. A very profound book. The other statement has been around. |

I read 'Siddharta' the first time when I was about 14, and read it every few yrs. The book doesen't change but my understanding of it changes as my life goes on.
You could read it in an afternoon, and it could stay with you a life time. |

All I'm saying is that even though some things will never change, don't lose hope. Hope for a better day, hope for a better way to live.
Keep your knees to the ground, and your eyes toward the sky. |
