The weather should have been perfect except for maybe Sunday. The rain didn't hit Central Texas til about noon in Luckenbach.
My brother-in-law really wanted to go some years ago but he broke his back trying to avoid a deer. They put him in a body cast and stuck him in the back of a van where he rolled around like a bowling ball til they got to the cook-off at Terlingua. They had a great time. He still has back problems. |

hahaha now THAT is a Terlingua story this was the first one I went to since the 80's. It's changed a lot. It was much more laid back then. Now its pretty out of hand and crazy. and not as psychedelic or at least not for me |

Good times...but definitely changed since my pass through...almost by accident...in the 70s. A lot more RVs... Thanks for sharing the pix, my man.
yeah I went from 79 to 86 and there are LOT more RV's now. And everyone has some kind of a 4wheeler or scooter or something and its a constant parade. And it's laid out in a LOT bigger spot (next door to the old Vila del Mina) so that walking anywhere is a chore. BUT they have ten times as many portapotties. and thats a good thing |
