I am wondering how those of you that have met someone on mingle2 and have become close handle it when you do not live close enough to see each other frequently. We are already burning up the phone lines.

We burned up the phone lines too- we talked for hours each night- emailed constantly- it sucked- but hang in there- we have been together almost a year now. It works if you work at it are patient

Thanx for the morale support I needed it today and to think I just left him 8 days ago....lol seems like a lifetime though. I have enough to keep me busy just trying to get things around for the big move...lol

i try to look at the positive aspects of being long distance, instead of continuously focusing on the negative.

of course it's lonely without him but if i continue to overthink that, it'll only lead to negative feelings about the overall relationship in general.

i love that seeing each other too infrequently makes us not take one another for granted and most of the time spent together is fun and happy. in other words, we're not around each other enough for us to get sick of one another. bigsmile

i like that i still get my personal time and am not weighed down with the responsibility of having to always go out with someone, even on the days when i'd rather just be alone.

even though it's been over three years, there's no 'used to him' feeling and i still feel as though the relationship is new and exciting, each and every time we see each other.
