I think he meant she was raped more then 40 times, but stopped counting at 40.

i was born and raised in the Bay Area, richmond is a crap hole! I would of definately helped, but i would of grabbed a weapon first, called 911 and then would of fought to kill!

Its tragic, I think plenty of people arent sure of where to draw the line between being nosy or being helpful. I hope this girl recovers but I think it will be hard to get prosecutions without witnesses coming forward. Depending upon how early on in the attack her emotions shut down, she probably wouldnt be able to identify ALL involved and if some were from a particular 'group', she may even misidentify some,,unless she knew them personally. The 'friend' who led her to the attack should be questioned thoroughly.

The boys will probably end up confessing if they are tried as adults. The group is too large to think that they will not know others were watching. To plead "not guilty" and to be found guilt would probably bring much harsher punishment.
