The goliath is the world's largest frog; its body can be more than a foot long, and its entire length, back legs extended, is often more than two and a half feet. They have been known to weigh more than seven pounds. Despite their enormous size as adults, eggs and tadpoles of goliath frogs are about the same size as those of other frogs. Why it becomes a giant, nobody knows.

I wanted to add that a worm is both male and female at the same time (a hermaphrodite.)

They don't have to go to Mingle2 to look for a date!laugh

So the women get all the credit for giving birth! Well it is not the case for this species! The male seahorse gives birth to the young.

So you think Michael Jordan can jump? Well move over Hall of Famer!

Fleas can jump 130 times higher than their own height. In human terms, that's a 6ft tall person jumping 780 ft in the air.

And yes I converted these numbers from the metric system. laugh

So you don’t like that you are so short? Maybe you want to be taller! If so then study to become an astronaut.

Why?

An Astronaut can be up to 2 inches taller returning from space. The cartilage disks in the spine expand in the absence of gravity.

Yeast does not age.

That is very interesting Jeremy. Nice to see you back again.drinker On a different note. Yeast does expire when you buy it to bake pastries. Well at least the ones I buy have expiration dates.

So you want to get rich huh? Here is a idea! You can convert graphite into diamond by applying a temperature of 3000 Celsius and pressure of 100,000 atm. Now how to get such a high Celcius and pressure together is the next challenge!

Many physicists believe wormholes (a "shortcut" through space and time) exist all around us but they are smaller than atoms. Anyone care to explain this to me?

I wonder if the inventor of the helicopter looked at a lot of hummingbirds in his life?
Hummingbirds are the only animals able to fly backwards.

The inventor of the heliocopter was blind from birth. His name was Alexander Bartholomew Sheldon. He died in childbirt when the midwife stabbed him during the birth of his seventeenth child, Andrea Oyar Mickejevics.

Hummingbirds are NOT the ony animals ableto fly backwards. Even giraffe can fly backwards, if you kick him in the nuts strong enough.

But without kicking, some animals, like flees, can also fly backwards from a jump start. So can helicopters. And viruses and bacteria. If you saw a harvest combine at work, you'd know that many cereals and fruits can fly backwards. And bumblebees an wasps. The list is just way too long.

Yes, I can explain, mylord.

Explanation:

Wormholes exist all around us but they are smaller than atoms.

Glad to have been of service, Sire.

Sorry. I apologize. I meant it to be funny.

Funny, light. I did not meant to be sarcastic or rude.

Little wonder the whole world hates me. If I make a joke, people think I'm stabbing them.

So much for what I call "humour".

Sorry.

Conclusion: I'd better call it a night. Crawl into my own little wormhole and turn out the lights.

Good night.
