But I am bored, and wondering what you all think? Rate me? I rate you (grade you) a B+. You are quite eloquent and well-spoken. You utilize your language skills well to express the love you feel for yourself. More adoration-like, and complete capitulation to your own wonderful self. Notable: "I'm above intelligent" "I accept all walks of life." These two say how you relate to other people. Intelligence is a quotient rating of a person's ranking in smarts, in relation to others. So intelligence is acceping that the "others" exist. You accept all walks of life. Like in your intelligence quote, you completely eliminate people from your exacting relationships with people. You are above intelligence; to you it's a concept of base values, because, supposedly, people and relationships don't mean much to you. You accept the walks of life: The way to live a life, the way to relate to the part of the cosmos that's within our reach. But you, again, eliminate people, you don's say that you "accept people from all walks of life". For you, I presume, a concept, a method, even an industrial standard is more important than humans. This is not a condemnation of you. Your values you don't have a power over, and if someone can't accept you because of it, tell them to go to warmer climates. I mean it. You should not feel guilt for who you are. You probably suffer from Asperger's Syndrom, but that's almost de rigeur for any engineer. Engineers are the lizards of the professions. The accountants are so dull that they are the fish that live underwater and yet don't drown. The physicians are gods. The lawyers are the foxes. The strippers are the heavenly bodies. The philosophers are the poor ones, superceded in this feature only by poets. I think the only people who have any sort of decent lives are the movie producers. Coming back to you, I must say, based upon my answer, that boredom is like nuclear power or like statistics: it's okay when it's well controlled, but it can be dangerous in larger qualities. Each of the three can be used for purposes of good, and puroses of evil. |

Each of the three can be used for purposes of good, and puroses of evil. Wow! That's pretty thorough... Thank you for taking the time for your insight. As for the asperger's... I guess I might need to re-interpret my "about me" column. I'm actually quite the social butterfly. Lol! Thanks again Wux. |
