I'd rather just have attraction, lust sounds fleeting to me.

without lust the quality of the relationship[especially in the intimacy dep,t]will be lacking and that isnt fair to the other spouse.it can ruin a relationship if there is not a physical attraction, one to the other.if this isnt there someone is going to feel kinda left out.equality in every aspect of a relationship is a must.especially in that aspect,so yes there must be lust on both parts.

The Seven Deadly Sins, also known as the Capital Vices or Cardinal Sins, is a classification of the most objectionable vices which has been used since early Christian times to educate and instruct followers concerning (immoral) fallen man's tendency to sin. It consists of "Lust", "Gluttony", "Greed", "Sloth", "Wrath", "Envy", and "Pride".

I dont' know, lust may be dangerous to your soul....lol

yeah, but define the bibles definition of lust .is it the same as mans?probably not!there should definately be an undeniable attraction in the physical sense to your spouse.it is also said in the bible that "a man should be intoxicated by his wifes breasts",which for some who like to twist the bible to their own understanding could easily misconstrue.so the lust or religions definition could also be just as easily misconstrued.

I am not religious so it matters not to me.

I just remember being taught by religion that lust is a sin is all.

Someone needs to define the difference between what is lust and what is attraction for their own well being if they are religious, I would think.
