Are you really ready
After all that talking the talk?
Are you ready
To walk the walk?
Are you ready to put yourself out there?
Are you ready to do as you declare?
It’s so easy to say: “I will”
But it’s hard to swallow the pill.
The bitter pill of reality,
Defeat where every one else can see.
Still standing upright,
Taking the heat,
Hold the head up high,
Not declaring defeat.
Many do think they do just that,
Not having really done anything yet.
They have done nothing
But talking the talk,
It’s really time now
To walk the walk.
Let others think
What they may
Be true to yourself.
What ever you say
Keep the promise you made
What ever you do,
Do it well,
And don’t let those down
That are near to your heart.
